Friday nights are always a challenge with wait times up to 2 hours some weekends. This summer, starting May 8th, we will open our NEW Food Truck (Red Pines on the Road) to try and offset those wait times. The food truck is just below the Volleyball Courts and will open around 4 pm every Friday – weather permitting – and offer our popular Fish Fry and appetizers including Walleye Cheeks, Cheese Curds and new Shoestring Fries. Other items will include our In-house Smoked Brisket Sandwich, Carolina Pork Sandwich, Walleye Sandwich, Haddock Sandwich and Smash Burgers.
Guests will be able to order directly from the Food Truck and find seats at picnic tables near the truck or head to the lower deck with beautiful views and lots of extra seating. Beverages can be purchased at our Red Pines Café or at the outdoor Pine Cone Bar which will also open for the season Friday, May 8th.
We are excited for this next chapter and hopefully, as we gain experience onsite, we will expand the food truck service to events and catering.
